Play MPEG files through the UltraPlus_F-9000HD_PVR

Is there any video converter programs that will convert video formats such as MPEG and AVI to a format that will play to TV from the UltraPlus_F-9000HD_PVR.
I have programs that will convert to .ts format but they will not play back through the UltraPlus_F-9000HD_PVR.
Any one know of any program that will convert files that will play through the UltraPlus_F-9000HD_PVR?

You may be able to use the fix it plugin to get the Ts files to work, alternatively just convert them to DivX.
