This Hawaiian link is down again.  Another hardware issue at the ground station I guess.  And it probably will take Intelsat a week to fix it again

Before I go and adjust my dish an anyone else verify if there is a loss of signal from Intel Sat 5 please?...noticed no signal at 5am to-day and still none tonight. All connections check out OK.

Many thanks.

Yes the signal quality is down, last time that happened was when the Hawaiian uplink failed. We believe this has happened again (as satboy suggests in the first post) and think they will be working on fixing it, in the mean time they will be using a temporary uplink so the signal quality will be considerably lower then normal, thus many customers will have no reception.

Signal is back up.   It seems to be that weather conditions for Hawaii's north shore have been extreme including flash flooding.  This may be the cause of the weak signal.
