Olympics Coverage on Freeview

Coverage of the Olympics on Prime is going to be awesome, they will have around the clock coverage of the Olympics being interupted only by Prime News @ 5:30 each day.
 
Prime will release the full schedule on the 19th of July 2012

Also we have a 3D Olympics channel broadcasting on OPTUS D1 12648MHz V Pol S/R:10500, you will need an Ultraplus HD receiver (for maximum picture quality) and a 3D HDTV.

Once you have scanned in the channels on an Ultraplus 900HD or X-9200HD and start watching the channel you will see somthing like this:



Then you need to activate the HDTVs 3D mode, e.g. on a Sony TV press 3D then select side by side and press OK:



You will then see something like this, if you put the 3D glasses on and turn them on the picture pups out of the screen. You will be blown away, it is awesome, I can't really give you any idea with this 2D picture but here it is anyway:

Interesting how the Australians  get HD and 3D on FTA where here in NZ we only get SD and stereo sound if your lucky..
