Very reliable, solidly built, does what it say on the tin unit.
User interface is good, nice styling even has some cool fades, it is fairly simple though and does not do everything other units like the Ultraplus can.
Recording of HD and SD is possible on satellite and terrestrial and you can play the files back on your PC.
I can only record from 1 tuner at a time you can watch another channel on the same transponder or multiplex though which is useful.
It has a quality feel throughout and a nice remote and is well priced for the capabilities it has I think.

We ordered the AH-3110 to be able to watch and record both Freeview and Freeview HD.
The unit was supplied with a quick start guide that made setup and configuration very easy, it is a professional class product so this was very helpful as it helped us to under stand how to set it up.
The product is awesomely capable, we have amazing reception on SBS HD, SBS One and SBS Two all of which are broadcasting on the same satellite as Freeview, you can just scan them in and watch.
We have had the product for a while now and feel it is one of the best purchases we have ever made, It has given us super robust TV reception including channels you can't get with many other receivers.
We got the HDD with it and were very impressed that the drive goes into standby mode if you put the receiver into standby and when it is running it is also super quite, it is clear that Freeviewshop has put a lot of effort into selecting the best gear and making sure everything works well.

This is a super Nice Satellite Box, the interface is simple and clean and works very well.
The fact that this unit has both satellite and terrestrial capability sets it apart from the competition.
It does everything I could want except for blind scanning, but you can't have everything.
I recommend it to anyone that wants both satellite ant terrestrial reception especially if you have an HDTV.

The AH-3110 is cool, nice menus allow you to do everything really easily, you can mix satellite channels and terrestrial channels in whatever order you want.
I found it quite easy to set up once I read the quick start guide which was quite helpful in detailing the most important aspects of setting it up.
It looked great on the TV straight away, but once I got the TV set up right (boy the TV has a lot of settings) the picture is truly amazing, the colors are so vibrant especially when watching HD content!

If you have a top of range panel it is wasted unless you can put 1080 Full HD into it. Freeview|HD has 3 HD channels (4 if you include the Freeview|HD demo channel) and SBS HD is on Optus D1 as well.
Performance is beyond amazing.

With the Hyundai Combo and a 1TB drive you can record:
Approx 200 hours of Freeview HD based on using TV One TV2 and TV3 or Approx 700-800 hours of Freeview based on TV One TV2 and TV3 from the Satellite.
If you were to get a DTT PVR with a 250GB drive then you would only be able to record 50 hours of TV One, TV2 and TV3.
I end up getting about 500 hours on mine because I record from Freeview HD when the content is native HD and from Freeview when the content is SD.
Other benefits include being able to play the files back on the PC.
A brilliant instant EPG with cool record options including Keep Time.
It is extremely reliable and works with all the other satellite services as well. I get over 100 channels of FTA TV with mine.

I have it working with Freeview, Freeview HD and BBC World and Australia network, which was much easier than I thought it was going to be.
It does so many cool things the ones that I particularly like are the MP3 playback, I have put all my CDs on it and now use it for everything, recording TV, watching TV, playing back TV and playing back music.
Everything is so well designed on the Hyundai, it is streets ahead of any other Terrestrial unit and has Satellite capability too.

I don't often write reviews on items that I purchase, but I had to review the Hyundai AH-3110 as it is a beautiful piece of engineering. The pictures of it on the web are great but you really need to take it out of the box to see it in person and appreciate the incredible quality of the unit. The performance is absolutely stunning both on native HD and on upscaled HD content, I don't think there is another set on the market that comes anywhere close to being half as good as this one. As you would expect recording is flawless, all audio tracks on channels with multiple audio tracks (such as TV3) are recorded as are subtitles (you can turn them on and off). It is ultra fast, channel change and EPG access is near instant, menus are well designed, all features you need are there and presented in an easy to understand manner.

Overall the Hyundai Combo is a great Sat/Terrestrial HD Recorder PVR. It has all the necessary connections, is easy to use and has outstanding performance.
It has all the advanced features that you need to get anything working and has an outstanding satellite tuner that will keep lock for a lot longer than anything else I have.
This is the MUST HAVE receiver for anyone that wants the very best, nothing else comes close to what the hyundai can do.

I am more than impressed the timeshift is great it keeps going when you change channels. What a great feature!
Menus are really easy to use, remote control is really really nice, again it is very logical and easy to use.

This unit is a great find for those of you looking to record in HD, the trp files can be played back on your PC etc. The user interface is stylish and fast.
The AH3110 is a nice set and I would have no problem recommending it to anyone. Hyundai did a good job making it, everything feels like quality.

I have had a super experience, the advice from Lars (freeviewshop) was spot on, he helped me get a power supply for my masthead amplifier (I did't even know I had one). Now I have Freeview HD working great as well as the satellite service, I really like the ability to copy files to my PC, they play back in stunning quality.

You can also record MPEG 2 *.trp files which make it perfect for making ultra high quality DVDs from the recordings

Just got my AH-3110, setup was a breeze as the quickstart guide supplied with it was bang on and 5 minutes after unpacking it I had it all working perfectly on satellite and terrestrial.
I have to say this is a quality machine, you can’t really appreciate the manufacturing quality and European styling until you see the real product.
I am amazed at the speed of everything it is just great.
Picture quality can’t be faulted either. The HD output is streets beyond anything else I have seen in the shops. Even the upscaled satellite picture is superb.
The menus are very well designed and all the setting are very logically set out. It is really configurable without being difficult to set up.
