Works very well, also uses the same remote codes as the high end Ultraplus units so if I have misplaced a remote I can just grab one from the other room.
Can't go wrong with this one fantastic quality at a fantastic price.

Had one of these for around 18 months and found it to be better than most on the market. (They are mostly rubbish at this price).
Still get the odd freezing occur, but a restart usually sorts it out.
Good after sales, and customer service from Freeviewshop makes it an excellent entry point STB

It has to be said that this is a very very nice machine.
I like mine a lot (normally I am not really fussed about gadgets as long as they do their job) but I think so much care has been put into this receiver that you end up loving it. I wouldn't buy another brand again, I am a fan!

Got one of these for XMAS and it is totally awesome.
It is super small and had great menus with super cool graphics. It is really nice to use and has some cool functions.
My favourite is the record function, I have plugged a memory stick into mine and made some recordings using the EPG which by the way is awesome, you just go to the guide and find what you want using the arrow buttons, then just press the record button, you can set up loads and loads of shows to get recorded and it will record them for you when they are on.
Anyway this is a super cool gadget!

These units are so good; so two more for the family for BBC World. The picture is stable, crystal- clear and strong; can really recommend these for a small footprint, easy operation, and reliable performance. The PVR function is very useful and easy to operate.
And, as previously, they come with the usual brilliant support from Lars and customary patience and goodwill.

We love it, this product has been incredibly well thought out, the EPG is a joy to use and lets you schedule heaps and heaps of recordings to be done.
It has very good picture quality both for watching TV and in the menus.
It is defiantly the best box you can buy in this price bracket, you can see why Ultraplus has such an excellent reputation.
Side Note:
Freeviewshop’s service was also exceptional (I don’t expect that from retailers these days). I rang up for presales advice and was very impressed with how professional and accurate the advice was, I had a few difficult (I thought) questions that were clearly and concisely answered. I went ahead with the order and it arrived next day fantastically well packaged and fully set up with clear instructions how to set it up with my dish in case I had forgotten from the previous day.
