Universal KU Band LNB

The Universal Ku band LNB allows 10.7-12.75GHz Input Freq signals to be received. Content broadcast on Intelsat 18 is broadcast in this range, this LNB is recommended for use with Intelsat 18, it can be used with most other Ku band applications including Freeview also.

Note: You can't use a 22KHz switch with a Universal LNB as the 22KHz switch tone is already used to select the 10.6GHz L.O.

After trying unsuccessfully to get IS18 with a trademe LNB, I got this one from Freeviewshop. It made the job very easy, had it working in 5 minutes after having tried unsuccessfully for 5 hours with the other one.

Good Quality / Well Made

I needed a good quality LNB for Intelsat 18 reception.

This one does the job well, I have good quality reception on all the transponders

I don't like L shaped LNBs that much I prefer I shaped as sometimes it may clash with other LNBs if you mount several on the same dish. As IS18 is far from most other satellites this is not a problem, but if I wanted to use it in another application later I would have preferred an I shaped LNB.
