What are your purchasing options?


When purchasing items from you may choose from one of several purchasing options.


You may purchase with your credit card using our secure web payment form, pay by cheque or bank transfer. 


What happens if you are unable to supply an item(s) for some reason ? 


In the unlikely event we are unable to supply an item we will refund the payment made for the item(s) that are not available as soon as is possible.

What do I do if my Items are damaged?


We are committed to providing quality equipment to you. You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged item as the couriers have a very short period in which we can claim for damage.


What happens if an item is faulty. 


If you think an item is faulty you should contact us by phone or email, many problems can be solved this way, often perceived problems are just a case of changing a setting. If we ask you to return something for testing or servicing you will need to cover the freight cost back to us,  warranty is return to base.


What is the warranty on options bought with a Receiver or Package. 


The warranty of an option bought with a receiver or package is that of the individual item, these are often listed separately, e.g. if you buy an external HDD with a receiver then the warranty will be that of the drive listed separately in the accessories section, most options will carry a one year warranty but sometimes it may be more e.g. if the receiver is an option of a package and the receiver by itself carries a 1 year warranty it will still have a 1 year warranty as part of the package. If in doubt please ask we will be please to advise the warranty period of any items.

What do I do if I wish to return an Item?


You can return unused unopened items only.


No monetary refunds will be given, only a credit.  Items must be sent back to us within 14 days of receipt with proof of purchase. Credit Notes are not redeemable for cash and can only be used to purchase products from the website.


We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Before returning items we require that you call us to discuss the details.

Where do you ship to and what do you charge for shipping & handling?


We only ship to physical addresses (not PO Boxs). It is your responsibility to provide a correct delivery address.


New Zealand shipping/packaging is variable depending on items ordered. It is more economical to buy a package deal than individual items. Please see our packages.


How long will my order take to arrive?


We will ship your items as soon as possible, normally we will dispatch items the same or on the next working day, the target delivery times for small and non rural south island deliveries is 2-3 business days, and for large north island non rural it is 2- 4 business days. Please call us if you order is urgent so we can give you specific advice on shipping times.


If there is a significant delay with a particular item we will most often have an alternative available and will inform you of lead times and alternatives.


Because we do not directly control all the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the target delivery times. We do not pay compensation for any delay in the delivery of your item.


Please call us if you need the items more quickly. We will advise you of all tracking details and the expected delivery time.


All goods remain property of Freeviewshop Limited until payment is made in full including payment of all freight charges.


Could Services Change?


Freeviewshop also has no control over programming and channels may start and stop transmitting or change power levels without notice. Freeviewshop has no control over Online Video Sites, they may change Video or Audio Codecs which may cause them to be unavailable on some or all receivers.
