The software is very nice, easy to use and very well thought out. I have had mine since they first came out and must say I have been very impressed.

This is a very good product; it is very easy to use and has great picture quality.
It has lots of fancy features also, I am not sure how they all work, but Freeviewshop is great when you need help. They helped me get my network sorted so I could use Youtube, the Youtube feature is very good on the X-9200 as it allows you to record the videos to the hard disk and watch them back when ever you like (without using up all your data), I like this for cooking recipes, I watch these on my Tablet in the kitchen via DLNA.

It will change your life, goodbye to the days of watching poor programs because there is noting better on and also of adverts (zip through them with the commercial skip feature).

The Ultraplus X-9200HD PVR absolutely is the ultimate PVR ever.
It is the most capable unit available i.e. record 3 channels and still watch another and even do picture in picture if you want.
It has the best picture quality I have ever seen, blows my old Topfiled away!
The remote is awesome, as it can control the TV too, I don't need the TV remote anymore.
It is an awesome media player, all the videos I have play back really well, the quality of the playback is really good also, much better than an expensive dedicated media player I have.
I love the Youtube player also as it even lets you download videos which is really handy, just select the ones you want go back to watching TV, come back a while later and they are all downloaded for you and you can watch them whenever you like.

I am very impressed with this PVR, it makes life so easy, easily controls my very complicated setup, was a breeze to configure and works fantastically!
The software is more than impressive and has a colossal number of features like support for various video sites including YouTube and Earth Touch (my favorites), DVB-S/S2 blind scanning, instant EPG and one tough record to mention just a few.

Brilliant to use, onscreen graphics are amazing as is the functionality and quality of the unit. Top of range and then some performance like recording 3 channels while watching another and you can still do picture in picture.
It is very configurable allowing you to adjust front panel lighting how you like it as well as all the how menus work e.g. you can choose two types of channel list one that shows you what is on etc. There are all sorts of plugins for it which are great too.
It also has great network options allowing you to copy files, watch YouTube, browse the web as well apart from being a brilliant PVR.

The picture quality is breathtaking, I simply couldn’t believe it when I saw how good it was in comparison to my other receivers (I thought they were really good).
It has clearly been designed with quality in mind, everything is super well designed from the remote to the display to the user interface. Clearly they have listened to their customers as features such as the commercial skip function are super slick and it is effortless to skip through the ads!!!!
Recording 3 channels at once while watching another is also effortless, the units EPG is amazing hit EPG it pops up instantly and you can scroll through all the channels for the whole week faster than you can imagine, selecting anything you want recorded with a single click of RECORD.
No other unit I have ever seen compares to how good this is. I could never go back to anything else now and I haven’t had it long. It is just fantastic.

The new Ultraplus X-9200HD is absolutely amazing!!!
My mate has the F-9000HD and raves to me all day about that, I was going to get one also but when the X-9200HD came out I thought I would outdo him ;-)
As with the F-9000HD the menus are exceptionally well thought out and it has so many impressive features it makes your mind boggle. Like for example the fantastic picture quality (now with 1080p support as well), really you have to see it to believe how good it is!
I am not going to list all the features and describe how good they are as there are so so many that to list them all would take all day, but I will just give you an example. If you want to transfer files to your PC say then you can put a HDD or memory stick in the front and copy your files to that (it can be formatted in FAT 32 or NTFS (Yes NTFS, I didn’t need to reformat my backup drive!!!)) Or you can attach it to the network and use windows file sharing, or FTP or you can put a WiFi adaptor in the back and use WiFi (and yes it supports WEP, WPA and WPA2, setup is a breeze as it has AP scanning to work out all the hard stuff for you, Nice!!!). Basically every feature is like that, it has been so well thought out that anyone can use it and it is done in the most flexible and intelligent way possible.
Service from Freeviewshop is also exceptional, they really understand Satellite TV down to the finest detail and can tell you exactly what you will need in a particular situation e.g. if you want extra Aussie channels, BBC World etc, they put together some great instructions for me so that I had no trouble setting my system up. I wouldn’t buy from anyone else anymore, the quality of the gear here is 10x better than anywhere else I know, not only that but they can help (and do help) if you get stuck etc.

Haven't had time to really enjoy the satbox as yet as only arrived and unpacked today, but so far it's looking very very good. Picture quality is excellent = the sound is not so fabulous but I'm hoping that's just a setting somewhere. I love all the bells and whistles. The service and advice that the freeviewshop gave was truly excellent! Thank you!
